- We all have a purpose and a calling that will continue to pull on us and show up in our lives until we start to listen and start acting in the direction towards it. However, sometimes that dream can seem so random and completely different then what we are currently doing that we have no idea how it will ever work.
This is when our inner strength and that awesome thing I like to call intuition kicks in to connect us, show us every single step and move us in the direction of our dreams. However, it takes confidence and consistency of looking within for the answers and strength to make the leap to pursue it.
When I first started thinking on how to create the idea of the ABS Protein Pancakes, I knew absolutely nothing on how to even create a protein/food product or where to even start. I can’t tell you how many times I would tell people “Hey I think I’m going to create a protein pancake line!” and I would hear: “What? Do you even know how to do that?” and immediately the doubts would creep in.
There were so many bumps and struggles in that journey to creating the ABS brand and every time things would get difficult I would dig deeper into my workouts, my meditations and my self love and that is exactly what we will talk about in today’s ABS TV episode with Linsday Tarpley.
Winning 2 Olympic Gold Medals before the age of 25 and now the co-founder of Sweat Cosmetics (which launches in Sephora this month), she shares her story and how a devastating career ending knee injury forced her to dig deep and find her own inner strength, but also taught her a valuable lesson of self love and that when one door closes another door opens.
