I recently made a post on Instagram talking about how most the time you think you dislike a certain food it usually is just because it’s never been prepared in a way you like…this is usually the case with veggies and especially Brussel sprouts. You hear the word Brussel sprouts and immediately your mind resorts to (oh that’s the food I eat because it’s supposed to be good for me, but I actually hate it). Well, hopefully after reading and trying this recipe your mind will be opened to a new simple way of enjoying Brussel sprouts that are actually delicious so that you choose them out of pleasure and the fact that they’re also packed full of healthy benefits just becomes a bonus for you!

The ingredients you will need are:

  • A Bag of Baby Brussel Sprouts (Or Regular Size)
  • Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper  

That is literally it!

Step 1: Wash and Cut Brussel Sprouts in Halves (it will roast better when cut in half)

Step 2: Place Brussel Sprouts in Mixing Bowl and Drizzle Olive Oil, Balsamic, Salt and Pepper and Toss Until All of the Brussel Sprouts are covered.

Step 3: Pre-heat Oven to 425 and Place Brussel Sprouts In Non-Stick or coated backing sheet (you can just put olive oil in the bottom of the pan) and cook for 30 minutes. You can literally set the timer for 30 minutes and put these in the oven and walk away then poof in 30 minutes they are done.

Step 4: After 30 Minutes Remove from Oven and Enjoy! 


You can use these as a side, for meal prep, as a snack, and cook up some delicious salmon or toss these in some whole wheat pasta with some crumbled goat or Gorgonzola cheese and olive oil and your friends will think you are a gourmet chef!
