I posted this workout the other day on Instagram because I was in a hurry and needed a workout that was short and effective and so many people commented saying they tried this workout and it was such a good total body burner so I had to share it on here! Most of the follow along workout videos I share on ABS Fit Life TV are a result of me traveling or being busy and only having my own body weight or a pair of dumbbells to get in a good workout so I hope they are helpful to you as well when you need to workout at home or on the go!

If you have never performed a 1 Arm Dumbbell Snatch or a Barbell Snatch for that Matter I suggest you first slow down the video and study the form and motion of this to make sure you are getting the full range of motion, proper form, and the explosive movement from the hips to lift the weight. The dumbbell snatch is meant to be a total body explosive movement so that most of the power is coming from the big thrust and shrug motion.

To perform this workout, all you need is a HEAVY pair of dumbbells. Ladies, if you are a beginner then I suggest using a 20lb Dumbbell (trust me it’s only 5 Reps and needs to be heavy)…if you are more experienced then I suggest using a 30-35lb dumbbell.

Perform 10 Rounds of this circuit as fast as possible with proper form:

5- 1 Arm Dumbbell Snatches (5 on each side)

5- Burpees

5- Russian Twists with a 25lb Plate (5 on each side)

You can use this video as your entire workout or you can use this as the conditioning portion of your workout after performing the strength portion like what is in the ABS Fit Life library.
